This is fantastic for couples looking for a quick photo session that won’t take up the whole day. A great way to remember a vacation or special occasion!

Price: $300CAD + GST

• 1 location *limited to areas within 20 minutes of Banff town

1-2 Hour Session

These are great for couples and families looking to celebrate big milestones (engagements, anniversaries, new baby etc). They also make for awesome vacation memories!

Price: $550CAD + GST + Travel

• 1-3 locations (depending on choice)

• 50-80 hi-res photos

• Up to 3 outfit changes

Proposals

Proposals

Proposals are arguably one of the most stressful and most important moment of anyone’s lives. When the big moment comes, you want to have a bulletproof plan of action so that all you have to think about in that instance is your partner. That’s where I come in.

A photographer doesn’t just take the photos these days, they’ve also become a big part of the planning process. They should know the area, lighting, weather etc. best, and, with enough experience, should be in the best position to guide you through the process from start to finish.

If you let me help you through a proposal, we’ll have a chat about your ideas and work together to make everything absolutely exactly as you envision it. In the build up to the big moment, we’ll chat many times to make sure our plan is absolutely bulletproof (that’s where the small extra cost comes in).

I’ll help you pick out the perfect spot, the perfect time of day, and I’ll give you some huge tips and tricks to make sure your proposal (and the photos) turns out perfectly! No idea is too ridiculous, and I’m always keen to try something new! If you want help with your proposal, drop me a line! All couples are welcome.

What if the weather is awful on the day?

Generally speaking the weather in the mountains is unpredictable, so even with a bad forecast it may be ok on the day. I’m happy to shoot in all weathers, but will try to reschedule the shoot for you if at all possible. Reschedule requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

General FAQ’s

“I’m not sure that I’d enjoy a photoshoot”

If you think you’re ‘awkward in front of the camera’ and that you might struggle with a photoshoot, believe me when I say, I’ve had much worse, and the photos have always turned out great!

Everybody starts off feeling a little nervous/ awkward (I hate being in front of the camera) and wooden, so I like to keep the shoots lighthearted and start you off gently with a few candid shots and easy poses. I give plenty of direction and I always keep things relaxed and fun. Trust me, everybody finds their rhythm after a few minutes!

Why is it 1-3 locations?

Generally speaking, locations are clumped together in Banff. For example, we have Moraine and Lake Louise in one area, Two Jack, Minnewanka and Vermillion in another, etc. With a 2 hour shoot, there is only time to do Lake Louise and Moraine in one go, but nearer to Banff we can potentially squeeze more locations in)

We’ll work together to pick out a few feasible locations together that will work within our time frame. I’m also open to discussing virtually anywhere in the Rockies if it’s feasible, however very long distances may incur a travel fee. With that being said, if you have a crazy idea, let me hear it!

How can I reserve a session with you?

To book a session with me and reserve your date, you’ll need to pay a 25% deposit, which I’ll refund fully if you cancel within 7 days. Last minute cancellations forfeit their deposit, but I generally try to help you reschedule if it’s at all possible. You can apply this deposit to your rescheduled shoot.
